Abstract:

The study area is a tin mining region in hundred years, located in Bangka Island, Bangka Belitung Archipelago Province. Identifying geo-disaster potential, in order that to know the the type, spatial distribution of geo-disaster that caused by geogenic or antropogenic factor.     The research is done by observing all of geo-disaster potential, with geological and geomophological additional condition. Geo-disaster potential is ilustratrated in a map as result of work using geographic information system (GIS) software that is supported from Landsat TM7 analysis.    Erosion, sedimentation, lanslide and abration disaster mainly caused by antropogenic factors from tin mining activities and landfarming, but for dryness, flood, hurricane and earthquake caused by geogenic factors. For flood and dryness also influenced by antropogenic factor. Dryness, erosion and sedimentation has the large spatial distribution in Bangka Island.

Abstract:

Geographic Information System is an information system that is used to enter, store, recall, process,analyze and output geographically referenced data or geospatial. By using GIS will be easier for decision makers to analyze the data. In this paper, the author makes the design of GIS localhost for the manufacture of Geographical Information Systems Geology Bangka Island using ArcGIS 9.3, Xampp, Mapserver and GeoServer.Utilization of several applications open source simple and applicable in the form of web server used is Xampp, the database server is used MySQL and management applications MySQL used PhpMyAdmin resulting Web SIG on geological aps digital Bangka Island and their attributes that can be used as information about the initial data for analysis advanced.

Abstract:

Kelurahan Kuto Panji merupakan salah satu kelurahan di Kecamatan Belinyu yang memiliki permasalahan pada sistem drainase. Hal ini dikarenakan sering terjadinya banjir saat musim penghujan. Kapasitas tampang saluran tidak mampu menampung air hujan sehingga menyebabkan banjir yang mengganggu aktifitas masyarakat serta arus lalu lintas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kinerja sistem drainase Kelurahan Kuto Panji Kecamatan Belinyu. Dalam analisis  kapasitas tampang saluran, perhitungan dilakukan berdasarkan debit rencana, sedangkan penilaian indikator fisik berdasarkan bobot yang telah ditentukan. Data yang digunakan adalah data curah hujan, peta administrasi, peta kontur, peta tata guna lahan dan outline plan drainase Kota Belinyu. Berdasarkan perhitungan dan kondisi eksisting di lapangan diperoleh hasil bahwa ada beberapa saluran sekunder yang tidak mampu menampung debit rencana yaitu saluran sekunder S2, S3, S4, S6, S8, S11, S12. Sedangkan tingkat kinerja sistem drainase terhadap indikator fisik yang dinyatakan dalam score adalah kurang (diperoleh total pengalian nilai dengan bobot sebesar 6015 ≤ 6100) menurut Kementrian Pekerjaan Umum. Diperlukan solusi terhadap permasalahan banjir antara lain dengan cara pembersihan dan pemeliharaan saluran drainase dari semak, diperlukannya saringan sampah dan normalisasi saluran berupa pengerukan secara berkala serta sumur resapan pada zangunan di pinggir saluran.

Abstract:

Sistem Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) merupakan teknologi akses yang memungkinkan terjadinya komunikasi data, suara dan video secara bersamaan pada media akses tembaga. Komunikasi data tidak dapat dihindarkan dari adanya derau, tidak terkecuali sistem ADSL yang mengalami kesalahan dalam hal pengiriman yang disebabkan adanya derau sehingga membuat nilai bit error rate (BER) meningkat. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan cara untuk mengurangi derau sehingga dapat memperkecil nilai BER. Untuk mengurangi derau dan mendapatkan nilai BER maka diperlukan metode modulasi Quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) pada sistem ADSL. Visualisasi sistem dibutuhkan untuk mengetahui kinerja dari sistem ADSL dan mengetahui BER yang di timbulkan. Dari hasil visualisasi dengan memberikan masukan data 64 bit, menampilkan konstelasi yang mengalami penyebaran data tetapi tidak
merusak bentuk dari konstelasi. Ketika konstelasi masuk ke kanal Additif White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) dengan simpangan antara 0 dB – 20 dB dan interval 2 dB, dihasilkan nilai BER 0.3906 pada saat Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) bernilai 0 dB sampai akhirnya BER bernilai nol pada saat SNR berkisar antara 9 dB - 20 dB.

Abstract:

Pulsator is one tool driving jig used PT. Timah Tbk in the process of separation of tin ores and minerals Downstream based differences in specific gravity (SG). Damage that occurs in the pulsator especially in the legs, can be caused by high vibration caused jig continuously during operation so as to make the bolt fastener will eventually become worn. Process improvements made PT. Timah (Persero) Tbk to damage pulsator foot is by means of welding, the connecting leg pulsator damaged (broken) with cast or plate material. Given the importance of the pulsator for tin ore separation process, we conducted a study of the results of the pulsator legs welded using electrodes AWS A5.15 cin-1, cin-cin-2 and 3 used PT. Timah (Persero) Tbk. The aim of this study is to find the right electrode is used for welding process that results weld toe pulsator can provide optimum strength welded construction. The research method is by way of experiment by comparing the electrode cin-1, cin-2 and cin-3 brand Nikko Steel against the welding process using the foot pulsator pulsator and plate material as the connection. After welding is done then analyze the results of the pulsator weld toe with the review of test results toughness, hardness and microstructure of welds. The test results obtained material cin-3 has a value of hardness and toughness that is higher than the material cin-1 and cin-2, with a value of 109 HRB 

hardness and toughness value of 6.53 joules/mm². The high hardness and toughtness of cin-3 compared with cin1 and cin-2 when showed from the microstructure of the material is cin-3 contained a very hard.

Abstract:

The research aimed to find the appropriate plant spacing and weeding period to onion growth and production in ultisol land. Furthermore, the objective of the research is to identify interaction between plant spacing and weeding period and its effect to onion growth and production. The experiment conducted in May 2014 – July 2014 in Experimental Field, Faculty of Agriculture, Fisheries and Biology, Bangka Belitung University. It used Factorial Completely Randomized Design with two factors and three repeated. First factor is plant spacing, consist of J1 (10 x 15 cm) and J2 (20 x 15 cm). Second factor is weeding period, consist of P0 (without weeding), P1 (weeding in 7 day after palnting), P2 (weeding in 14 day after palnting), P3 (weeding in 21 day after palnting), P4 (weeding in 28 day after palnting), P5 (weeding to harvest time). The result showed plant spacing 20 x 15 cm and weeding period until harvest time give the great result to onion growth and production. Furthermore, it showed that no interaction between plant spacing and weeding period.

Abstract:

The study aimed to determine the effect of scarification and soaking in potassium nitrate on breaking of oil palm seed dormancy and to know the best treatment combination of all treatments tested.  The experiment was conducted on January2013  to March  2013 in theincubation room at the Village Pagarawan Merawang District.Research using 2x3 factorial arranged in completely randomized design, repeated 8 times. The first factor was scarification treatment that consists of injured seed coat and no injured seed coat. The second factor was chemical treatment that consists of soaking potassium nitrate with a concentration of 0 %, 0.1%, 0.2%. Parameters observed was First Count Germination (FCG),MaximumGrowthPotential,Germination,Seedling growth rates, The rootlength, length ofplumula, Dormancy intensity,Normalembryos. Data were analyzed using variance analysis followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test with α = 5%.The results showed that the average speed of germination treatments (combination of scarification and KNO3)give a mean value of 2.38% growth rate per Etmal. Without scarification with a mean of 1.66 Per Etmal. The best treatment is a combination of the scarification treatment with 0.2% KNO3 concentration had growth rates of 2.56%/Etmal.

Abstract:

Kajian aktivitas senyawa antibakteri Actinobacillus sp dari larva ikan patin siam (Pangasius hypopthalmus) terhadap bakteri Aeromonas hydrophilla dilakukan dengan mengisolasi bakteri dari larva ikan patin siam, identifikasi bakteri, pengujian daya hambat terhadap pertumbuhan Aeromonas hydrophilla dan analisa senyawa antibakteri pada metabolit Actinobacillus sp. Hasil uji penghambatan pertumbuhan menunjukan bahwa dari 6 isolat bakteri yang diidentifikasi, Actinobacillus sp memiliki kemampuan penghambatan yang lebih besar dibandingkan isolat bakteri lainnya. Berdasarkan waktu pertumbuhan bakteri Actinobacillussp, daya hambat terbesar diperoleh pada fase kematian (jam ke-24). Senyawa antibakteri yang terdapat pada metabolit Actinobacillus sp berdasarkan hasil analisa GCMS adalah Hexanedioic acid bis (2-ethylhexyl) ester dengan area 24,75%.

Abstract:

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kondisi perairan pada kolong pasca tambang melalui pengukuran berbagai parameter perairan, merumuskan model kemungkinan hubungan antara berbagai parameter perairan pada kolong yang diukur, dan merumuskan hubungan parameter pH dengan parameter kualitas perairan lainnya berdasarkan model yang diperoleh pada kolong pasca tambang timah. Sampling lokasi penelitian dilakukan pada tiap kabupaten/kota di Pulau Bangka dengan cluster sampling. Pengukuran parameter kualitas perairan meliputi pengukuran nilai pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), suhu, kekeruhan dan ketercemaran logam berat. Hubungan semua variabel hasil penelitian dianalisis secara matematis dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda sebagai model kualitas lingkungan perairan pasca tambang timah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada kolong tua, diperoleh hubungan yang cukup linier antara pH dengan parameter suhu, DO, dan kecerahan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar R = 0,81 dan koefisien determinasi R2= 65%. Pada kedua jenis kolong lainnya model hubungan anatara pH dengan parameter lainnya belum menunjukkan linearitas yang cukup signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian logam berat, beberapa jenis logam yang terdeteksi dari sampel air kolong adalah logam Pb, Cd, dan Fe.

Abstract:

 

Implication of the publication of the regulation of dynamics of tin mining on Bangka Island, it is most clearly visible are the rise of tin mining unconventional. The Central Government controls over commodities lead is so strong that they use their hands to do military protection. The local community is prohibited to mine, sell, even save them even one kilogram of matter. This condition is a precondition for the emergence of dissharmonsation in the management of lead in this area. Last issue about the rules of tin mining this regulation until now has never been resolved. So in a forum, all conflicts that erupted about tin mining will stop when the tin islands of Bangka Belitung Province have been exhausted.
